i know that if the synchros go bad or the throwout bearings get fucked up that basically you would hafta spend a grip of money or buy a new tranny.

now my question is, how do u know what kind of shape ur tranny is in? and how often do is a car supposed to change the transmission fluid? i missed my 30,000 tune up and im trying to do everything on my own.

every 15k miles change your tranny fluid...

change your trans fluid after everytime you drive hard
RR, drag events, ect
use no substitution, honda mtf
or if you are running an lsd use its recomended fluid
