I came across this forum while I was searching for articles on 944's as drift cars. It was just a thought I had and don't intend on pursuing that for my car. I noticed a lot of members form the bay area and felt this would be a good forum to register for. I am fairly new to cars, but I try to do the work on my car myself aside from bigger jobs that require a shop. I enjoy graphic arts and traditional drawing as well with a lean toward autos. anyway I am looking to get more into the physical side of cars instead of the digital side I have been with.

Welcome to the site. I had a 944 drift car, the blue one. The car was great for the track (not drag racing). it was just a very controllable car.
I loved the way that car looked. had quite a bit of problems though.

thanks for the welcome. I have been experiencing problems with mine as well. They are maintenance hogs! I think I will most likely autocross it and then sell it for a 951 like yours andial.
Ryan, your blue 944 was beautiful! I saw some other pics on another thread. What kind of engine mods (if any) did you do? The new NSX is sweet btw

I see Andial edited my thread. I only had an intake, upper strut bar, koni and koni shocks. Roger should have bought my car but he didn't. It had some other nice parts on it like Recaro SRD Seats, roll cage, etc.
