My friend has a 1970 Mercury Cougar witha 351w. Beautiful machine and hella fun to ride in. I finally convince him to bring it to the races and Montague. Three AM rolls around and we're approching the light in race traffic. A little toyota wagon in front of us slams on his brakes. My friend reacts well and stops just in time without a sec to spare. As soon as we stop I look back to see a beautiful New School Trans-Am with Ram air roll straight into us. We jump out to find Ram-Air guts all over the street and Cougar brake fluid covering the road. Guys, watch the road when you roll and also when you see some ol' school muscle on the road, remember that those drum brakes don't do much so be carefull when cutting in front.
