the tickets we get as street racers,or car enthusiasts are just ways to make easy money.like the street races by my house, they are huge!! the races in ontario california are huge,500+ every friday and saturday.if the cops really, really wanted to stop it they could.no problem.set up road blocks and what not.but no,they make so much money off of us,why stop the money from rolling in,fix it tickets, speeding tickets, speed contest, and the judges have no mercy on you because its deemed a 'street racing area'.ive seen cops out at the races from the neighboring cities handing out tickets.they have to give out a certain amount of tickets so why not stroll down to the races and hand them out like lollie pops at the dentist.its bullshit but it is what it is.we are the little people and theres nothing we can do.thats why im going to be a chp,i cant beat em' so ill join em'.youll never see them set up an area for us to race at,set up an area for cruising, set up a hang out spot, get the local tracks to open up so we can do it legally becuause they stand too much money to lose.jmo

interesting- I think people should really hear these original ideas of yours! Fight the Power!

Actually- don't you think it would be much more impressive for the police dept. to eradicate streetracing? Would a sheriff running for re election like to have that title- hell yes he would.

Unfortantley, you would have a problem if you tried to arrest 500 people. One the police would be underpowered, which would probaly result in a riot of some sort. Then you would have 500 extra people in jail.

I almost moved to Rancho Cucamunga- I know you So,Cal guys don't have the same problems witha legal track that we do here- so you don't have that excuse. So why are you going to the street races and not the legal drags?

actually the cops have 'raided' the races out here and impounded 280 cars, and gave out hundreds of tickets.and there are no tracks to run at in so.cali right now.pomona is the only one worth taking your car to and they dont allow street legals anymore.so its not about man power for the police, its about money when i got caught street racing it cost me 1200 in fines, impound fees etc.now you do the math if they impound 280 cars at 1200 each that is 336,000. makes me want to quit my day job.im surprised sjpopo hasnt responded, because he is on the other side of the fence and i think he would agree with me.i mean someones gotta pay for the pretty court house buildings right?? why not us "law breakers"
